Terms of Service

1. Operator and acceptance

Global Business Group LLC provides Karboni. By using or continuing to use the service, you accept these terms and contract with Global Business Group LLC for use of the service; purchases through Paddle are governed by its Buyer Terms. If you represent a company, you confirm authority to bind it to these terms.

2. Service and estimate limitations

Karboni provides emissions calculations, reports, CBAM estimates, workspaces and tasks based on your data and available emission factors. Results are indicative, not an audit, compliance certification or legal advice, and do not replace required independent professional verification. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

3. Accounts, data and intellectual property

You are responsible for credentials, accurate inputs, authority to share data and team permissions. Your company data remains yours; you grant Global Business Group LLC limited permission to host and process it to deliver the service. The company retains ownership of software, documentation, design and branding and grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under your plan. Resale, infringement of others' rights and circumvention of technical limits are prohibited.

4. Subscriptions and Paddle's role

Plans are displayed in US dollars: Growth $29/month and Enterprise $99/month for checkout-eligible countries. Checkout discloses taxes, the final amount and billing frequency before confirmation. Country availability does not guarantee acceptance of every card; Iraq, Syria and Lebanon are not enabled for checkout. Test mode does not charge real money; live checkout is not opened before the required approval.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders placed through it. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries concerning purchases and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms govern payment, billing, taxes, cancellation and refund mechanics, without limiting mandatory legal rights.

Subscriptions renew monthly until renewal is canceled. Workspace owners can request cancellation on the subscription page or through Paddle support. On ordinary cancellation, paid access remains until the paid period ends, then paid writes stop while saved data remains readable according to your permissions. A refund request is separate from cancellation and is governed by the refund policy and Paddle's terms.

5. Acceptable use

Unlawful use, fraud, spam, intellectual-property or privacy infringement, malware, unauthorized access or security probing, unauthorized scraping and interference with security or the service are prohibited.

6. AI summaries

AI summaries are optional and generated on request. You are responsible for inputs, rights to them, checking outputs and their use; outputs may be inaccurate and are not sufficient alone for regulated professional advice or compliance. Do not use the service for illegal content, hate, deception, impersonation, rights violations, malware or bypassing safety controls.

You retain rights to your inputs; you may use outputs to the extent permitted by law and third-party rights, without any guarantee of uniqueness or protectability. We may refuse or restrict outputs, remove prohibited content and suspend accounts for serious or repeated violations. Report rights-holder complaints to info@karboni.app.

7. Suspension and termination

Global Business Group LLC may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or serious or repeated policy violations, subject to applicable law. Subscription expiry does not automatically erase data; the privacy notice governs retention and deletion requests.

8. Liability, governing law and contact

The service is provided as is, with implied warranties and liability for decisions based on estimates excluded only to the extent permitted by law; no non-excludable liability or right is excluded. Use of the service with Global Business Group LLC is governed by Dubai and UAE law, subject to mandatory consumer rights and Paddle's terms for purchases. Enquiries and support: info@karboni.app.
